There’s something timeless about a portrait.
It hangs on your wall.
It lives on your phone screen.
It fills an album that your children and grandchildren will one day flip through, smiling at the memory of who you were and how you loved.
A portrait is a gift that doesn’t fade. It grows more precious with time.
That’s why I believe Christmas portraits are the perfect gift for your family—and for generations yet to come.
Getting Ready: What to Wear
Let’s talk wardrobe.
The temptation? Everybody in matching outfits.
The truth? Matching is okay—but coordinating is magic.
Here’s what I recommend:
- Pick a color scheme (think warm earth tones, jewel colors, or winter whites).
- Let each person express themselves within that theme.
- Layer textures like velvet, knits, or denim for a rich, elegant look.
The goal is for your portraits to feel like you—real, beautiful, and full of joy.
Bring a Little Christmas with You
When you step into the studio, I want it to feel like your living room on Christmas Eve.
So bring the little things that make Christmas feel like home.
Ornaments from your tree. Candles from your mantel. Old family photos.
That special tablecloth your grandmother used. The angel that’s always on top of the tree.
We’ll include them in your images—because legacy lives in the details.
When to Book (Don’t Miss the Moment)
If you want to send holiday cards or give portraits as gifts, timing matters.
Book your session by the first week of December to ensure you receive your fully retouched gallery within five days. That gives you plenty of time to choose your favorite images and turn them into beautiful prints, albums, or cards.
Don’t wait until the rush. These sessions fill up quickly, and I keep the calendar limited on purpose. Each session is personal, relaxed, and fully focused on you.
What Makes This Studio Different?
It’s simple: you’re family here.
When you walk into my studio, you’re not a client. You’re kin.
We laugh together. We honor your story. We create images that reflect your full self.
My style is Afrocentric, soulful, and joyful.
It’s rooted in tradition, filled with intention, and always centered on capturing who you truly are.
Every session is a celebration in front of the lens.

The final photos were stunning. Every single one told a story. I didn’t just walk away with amazing images—I walked away with a memory I’ll always cherish.
